Bacup & Rawtenstall Grammar School - Entrance Exam Success!

In 2018 all of our pupils achieved scores well above the pass mark of 99.5 &
were all offered a place at this very popular school.
We are extremely proud of their success!

The school's high ranking in league tables & its status as a selective entry state school make BRGS vastly over-subscribed so competition for places is fierce. In 2013 Trinity Mirror's ranking of state funded schools placed BRGS at 119th of 3,079 with a score of 76 out of a 100.
It was rated as a 5 star school for the following attributes:
Attainment Teaching Behaviour Outcomes

Bury Grammar School (Girls) 100 %
Bury Grammar School (Boys) 100 %
